Why do I need SendOwl?

Do I need a website to sell on SendOwl?
No, you don’t!
What about payments?
SendOwl has teamed up with Stripe to allow you to seamlessly accept and manage payments directly from SendOwl (base fee of 2.9% + 0.30 USD for merchants located in the United States. Add 2% for merchants located outside the United States). If Stripe is not available in your country, we also integrate with PayPal.
What is an order management fee?
SendOwl does a lot under the hood. We automatically deliver access after purchase, manage secure access to orders, and allow your end-buyers to access their purchases as long as you are a SendOwl customer. In exchange, we charge a small fixed fee per order.
Can I do test orders?
Test orders are included in your plan.
Do you charge for free orders?
Yes. Because SendOwl’s product delivery and access infrastructure works the same way for free and paid orders, the per order management fee will apply to both free and paid orders.
What is Fair Use Bandwidth?
Our order management fee covers all file sizes up to 500MB and 3 downloads per order. For orders above 500MB, you will be asked to turn on “Fair Use Bandwidth” to ensure we cover our incremental costs to serve your large files. You can read more about FUB here.
